I've seen all three at their best, and their worst (to date anyway). Talent wise I wouldn't put Hatton anywhere near the other two. Not to say he's not a special talent, but the other two are/were on another level. But then there's more to all this than talent.

lewis was the greatest over here in the us because he was heavyweight champion, robbery against holyfield then the giant publicity fight with tyson. but in reality he didn't fight anybody anywhere near their best.

nigel benn fought eubank, watson and collins at their best and gave them their toughest fights, he also took out iran barkley in one round. i cant help thinking of lewis being knocked out by mccall and benn-mcclellan. i really cant see how you could have lewis over benn when you look deeper.

        Hmm, interesting.

I'd have to diagree violently, though. I've Hatton at his best, and he is extremely talented, there's not Anybody I wouldn't put him 'anywhere near'.

Until he got abused by Hagler.

It's more about how highly I rate Hamed and Calzaghe than a slight on Hatton. He's world class, with world class talent. That much is without doubt. The other two are just special.

It's not about me not rating Hamed's and Calzaghe's talents extremely highly. It's about me rating Hatton's Extremely highly (trust me, he has a lot more to show).

If this is best boxer, even though I'm not a fan I would go with Naseem Hamed.

My favourite British boxer since the 80's is probably Nigel Benn.

just wondering why kirkland laing is even on the same list as lewis and hamed?
if somebody can tell me what he acheived apart from beating an overweight roberto duran then id understand it.

He was Very talented. But his form of training was dancing the night away, and the only supplement he used was *******.
