Is this Rky_Marshymllow guy ever gonna take Hamed's **** out his ass? This guy's love over the biggest overated fighter of the 90's is ****en funny, he's making excuses then trying to cover them up by saying "Well they can't be real excuses because this is a pro sport"....It's like your saying,"If he was more professional he would have beat Barrera"..... If Hamed was as good as he claimed he was, he would have found a way to beat Barrera regardless of the way Barrera fought him, and wasn't Barrera a big underdog coming into this fight....????????? Hamed got pretty far with his one-dimensional style but once he stepped up he got shutout.
Everyone else has argued constructively.
You however, have managed to bring the level of discussion to complete immaturity. Of which I wont lower myself to... so you can leave now, yeah?
Im sure Kelly's jab worked better. I believe it was his jab that showed Barrera wat to do. He snapped Naz's head back a few times in the 2nd or 3rd round.
As far as Naz being way past his best, i still am not sure. But u know him better than me.
With Tyson, his head movement, and combos and jab were forgotten. With Naz...i dont know.
Naz landed more jabs come the end of the fight.
They made a point of saying it. All 3 of them; Lederman, Lampley and Foreman... they said something along the lines of "who would have thought the prince would outjab Kevin Kelley?".

This thread already went into the trash when the excuses for Hamed losing to Barrera started. You just wana convince yourself that Hamed's loss to Barrera was a fluke so it could help you deal with the loss.

He was only dropped once by Alicea before the Kelly fight.
And although he couldnt hurt McCullough and Soto, but outpointed them easily.
I dont know Morales that well. But i would say Hamed could beat Morales the same way he could beat Pac.
Neither of them could beat Hamed at range.
Hamed looked like **** against McCullough and Soto. If you don't know about Morales then you can't judge him. Hamed that i recall may have been put down by Johnson or Medina i may be wrong but i remember him being down before, if not down i remember him being wobbled. If his fights went past 7 rounds they were boring. With fighters less talented he looked good, with fighters at of near his level he usally looked like crap. Hamed would get a prime Morale and Barrera not the one Pacquiao is getting, so don't get that confused. Again, remember Hamed ducked/avoided Marquez and had some help from the wbo and friends.

Hamed was at the height of his fame when he was going to fight Barrera, i was even worried for Barrera loseing and damn did he surprise me. I told everybody to watch for Hameds power, but Barrera gave Hamed a boxing lesson. If that was Barrera before Jones, Barrera would have run through him that night.

Bobby is right. He was never knocked down by Johnson or Medina.
Naz looked **** against McCullough? I feel you havent done your homework. Naz threw exactly the same number of punches as McCullough and exactly doubled McCulloughs "shots landed" for a land percentage that exactly doubled McCulloughs... thats hardly ****. He also had McCullough busted up and woobled at points in the fight, especially the 9th round.
And no, Hamed never avoided Marquez as you would like people to believe.

I remember Hallowen day McCullough took all of Hamed punchs, that how i remember it, i'll probably see the fight again tonight.
I'll check my boxing mags and the video where merchant said somthing consering marquez, i'll see if i can find it.
I don't expect you to aggree that Marquez was ducked by Hamed but its true he was.
Hamed came back months later after Barrera against an opponet and went 12 rounds he was supposed to knock him out. Hamed never reached Hbo's expetations.
