i think "prince" would have been stopped by morales as someone said earlier that he thought barrera was the easiest of the two and he got schooled so morales would have beat him comfortably IMO

MAB didnt win Hamed, Hamed lost it.

everybody knew he was too ****y and never trained that much against MAB.

He dances around and is very hard to predict a person who is very awkward and a southpaw.

Morales is a macho guy who wanna stand toe-to-toe which is a disadvantge for Morales Hamed is a hybrid type of slugger who is fast and strong as well as he goes inside punch punch punch and the goes out.

As for the best FW it would be Salvador Sanchez.

Because back in 1995/6/7/8/9, Hamed fought fighters not in the league of MAB,EM,JMM and that made him look good?

          I dont think thats fair.

Barrera outboxed Hamed. There are no real excuses. Hamed did try, but was being picked off.

Maybe if they fought a few years earlier it would have been different. But i dont know.

Who were those 3 fighting in 1995 that made them better than Naseem Hamed... bearing in mind he was world champ at that stage also...

Are you for real ? back in 1995 or 96 can you name one credible opponent that Hamed fought ? I'll bet you cant.

As soon as Hamed stepped up the level of competition he utterly failed. He fought mostly C maybe a few B class fighters in his day but as soon as he stepped up to fight Barrera who is an A caliber fighter he chocked and got "clowned" for 12 rounds.

Props to Hamed for going the 12 rounds against Barrera who was clearly schooling him from the beginning but other than that I dont see any reason to get exited over the guy other than the fact that he was flashy and very unorthodox.

WBO Title holder. World Champion in 1995. Top of the Featherweight division.

Meanwhile Barrera was champion as a Bantamweight, fighting Junior Jones and losing.

Marquez wasnt a champion in any division and had under 20 fights under his belt. Please note he was fighting the likes of Freddy Cruz who Naz destroyed before Marquez. Please note Harold Ledermans comment about him...

Morales was a champion inside Mexico... fighting for pretty much regional titles...

                    Kthxbye.

Hamed was on another planet in his early career, only Jones was more impressive.
