I think Hamed was overrated in Britian, the man never showed me the heart of a champion.

No version of Hamed would've ever beaten Morales, Barrera, Pac or JMM.

I lost a bit of respect for Steward due to this as Saurez was amateur at best, and Steward should have demanded that he alone trained Hamed from the offset. But like you say Eazy_Mas, Steward had plenty of other engagements including Lennox Lewis so it just goes to show that money talks. Love or Hate Brendan Ingle, i fully believe that Hamed was and would've been a better fighter under his guidance, but relationships break up, it's a fact of life, and obviously Hamed couldn't continue in a working realtionship with Ingle.
I agree with you in here.

Most people hated Hamed anyway that is why after his loss most people would would say he is done.

I think if Mayweather lost to someone everybody would say Mayweather was overrated. But Mayweather is not like Hamed he is a guy that takes every fight very serouis and trains hard in each fight that is why he keeps a perfect record.

As far as I am concern Hamed was very enterianing fighter and one of a kinda slugger that his style is vert awkward nobody could deny that.

Morales is technically superior to Hamed the way Barerra was and would have beat Naz down the way Barerra did. Naz would not have stood a chance against Morales. I am a Barerra fan, but Morales is the better boxer and would have killed Naz.

Naz is bum and MAB exposed him.

Pac is bum and he KOed MAB and Morales.

As a result there is a fraud in the whole division

                  I dont agree.
Although Hamed totally outclassed and destroyed Robinson, i think Robinson's style was taylor made for Hamed.

I honestly believe the way in which Barrera fought was the main reason Hamed was beaten. Not that Hamed wasnt focused or in his 'prime'. But Barrera waited for Hamed to make mistakes then made him pay with his fast jab.

I can see the same thing happening if they fought in 1995.

No one here has yet given examples of how Hamed was poor that night. People say either "he was exposed" or "he wasnt focused or in his prime".
But wat DIDNT he do that night against Barrera that he would have done in 1995/6?

Against Barrera he lunged in and was punished, but he also tried boxing, and that didnt work either. I understand his preparation was poor, and he was relying on his power too much. But what would be different in 1995 if Barrera fought the same way?

Naseem Hamed was a better, and a more focused fighter in 95. He deteriorated as a fighter leading up to the Barrera fight, especially post Brendan Ingle. Hamed claimed that when he seperated from Brendan Ingle he would bring in a trainer that would help his progress as a fighter, and when Steward was mentioned i thought that this would be the case, however, as already mentioned, Saurez was added to the mix and Hamed didn't progress at all IMO, which is a great shame because he was possibly the most talented fighter in British history.

he had a great 90's run, but **** i wanna see him fight again! i dont know if hes released yet, but i dont believe that his career is over yet. that style is still awkward and the power in both his hands are still there.
