Prime or no prime. I never said it was about prime but Hamed didnt come well prepared for his fight with Barerra.

but the main topic is Hamed and Morales and not Hamed and Barerra. I would say if both came prepare it would be a tough fight.

Most people are saying that Hamed is bum and stuff like that so if you said like that Barerra's win to Hamed in insignificate and that is not the case. both MAB and Hamed are world class fighters as well as Morales and nobody could doubt that.

As for Barerra and Pacuio where Manny KOed Barerra in the 11th does not mean Barerra is weak but means Pacquio is strong.

When Barrera fought Morales the 3rd fight and was better than Morales in all depratment of that fight. does this mean that Morales is weak no it doesnt.

My whole point that Morales and Hamed fight would be comptivte fight and not like all people would think of as an easy walk in the park for Morales.

I was recording a Morales fight, then at the end of the tape i had another fight recorded on the same tape that i didn't know was their.

It was the fight between Angel Vasquez v. Freddy Cruz. Vasquez ko'd Cruz. But seeing Vasquez fight reminded me how Hamed also chose to not fight Vasquez, I remember Vasquez as Marquez was also at one time Wbo #1 and Hamed was supposed to fight him, but Hamed didn't.

If you remember Vasquez before he lost was a hot prospect, one with power, and one reason Hamed didn't fight him, but what happens later on, Vasquez loses. Of course this made Hamed look bad since he didn't take the fight with Vasquez. I dont know if anybody remembers Vasquez.

Thing with Naz is he showed his true colors after losing to MAB. Real champions would have gotten right back up but he went in to hiding. Couldn't show face. Didnt he have one more fight then called it quits...i dunno for sure.

It's not like took a beating in the MAB fight. He got more humiliated more than anything.
If you don't know for sure you shouldn't comment on the subject. The Hamed who beat Robinson is a match for any fighter in Featherweight history IMO. The Hamed who fought Barrera was a self deluded little w*anker who would have been stopped by Morales.

I don't think it was an off night for Hamed at all, i think he went into the ring with the mentality that he was going to easily knock out Barrera and no one (including Manny Steward) had the balls to tell him otherwise. At that stage in Hamed's and Barrera's career, Barrera was the better fighter, simple as that.

Manny Steward was concentrating on Lewis and didnt have enought time for Hamed.

It part of both that made him loss.

I don't think that you can put any blame on Steward for the Hamed loss to Barrera! Steward had a bit part to play in the whole Hamed training fiasco. Hamed stated a few times that he classed Oscar Saurez as his head trainer in the 'doomed to fail' partnership with Steward. I lost a bit of respect for Steward due to this as Saurez was amateur at best, and Steward should have demanded that he alone trained Hamed from the offset. But like you say Eazy_Mas, Steward had plenty of other engagements including Lennox Lewis so it just goes to show that money talks. Love or Hate Brendan Ingle, i fully believe that Hamed was and would've been a better fighter under his guidance, but relationships break up, it's a fact of life, and obviously Hamed couldn't continue in a working realtionship with Ingle.
