I just saw the fight finally. I have to say, Toney won that fight. I scored it 115-112 for Toney, same as one of the judges. Thats 7 rounds to 4 with one tied. I scored the 9th round 9/9 because of the point deduction for Peter who I thought was winning the round. How anyone scored it 9 rounds to 3 for Peter is crazy or got paid off. Unfortunately Toney was right when he said, "hey, that's boxing." All bias and dislike for Toney aside,That decision stank.

That said, it was a good fight. Toney was clearly winning most of the early rounds landing hard shots. Sam Peter starting doing much better the last four rounds, as Toney was getting tired and throwing less. Toney was momentarily rocked a few times, but never seriously hurt. Toney looked a lot better in this fight than he did against Rahman. He wasnt as sluggish and had much better balance.
