I'm just glad I didn't put any money on Toney. I almost put 400 on him then remembered when I put 200 on him vs Rahman and he had such a poor performance, then I was like nah, im not doing it

I heard Asian Sensation had alot of money riding on Toney. Poor dude...I bet he was PISSED when that decision got dropped.

There is one thing that stands out and I find it sorta funny. Anyone remember back awhile when oleg was the number 1(ish) contender and they magically moved Toney ahead of him and gave him the shot. Then he got lucky with a draw against rahman. Now Toney gets the loss and in the end the guy who should have had the title shot vs rahman to begin with is the champ. Karma is a ***** eh? (no pun intended) Though I like Toney but you can't compare Toney vs Peter to Wlad vs Peter. Wlad vs Peter is different and the only heavyweight whos gonna beat Wlad is one who hits like a truck. Toney is not this guy and it won't matter anyhow because I don't see him fighting anyone of note at heavy anymore..... atleast I hope not.

Toney put up a good fight but was overpowered and knocked off balance and forced to move backwards all night. A close but clear cut win for Peter. At best you might have Toney drawing with him, and that's if you give a lot of weight to those weak combos off of the counters that Toney occasionally scored.
Give me a break. Toney's punches have enough pop on them at HW. What, unless you have a punch like Ernie Shavers at HW, your punches don't count?

That's like saying Sweat Pea should have lost all of his fights, because he wasn't a power hitter, so his punches shouldn't really count for anything. You need to learn how to score a fight.

have you ever seen a Toney fight where Roach didn't say that? in his last 3 biggest fights (Jirov, Rahman, and Peter), Roach told Toney to put his opponent on his ass. it's nothing new. you don't know **** about boxing.

Toney lost maybe 4 rounds against Peter. Wlad lost maybe 3. But Wlad was floored 3 times. Toney was hurt once, and even then, he might have been playing possum. Though Wlad won his rounds more clearly, Toney was never in trouble of losing this fight unlike Wlad. Can't argue with that.

Or that Peter doesn't hit as hard as everyone thinks. He has yet to legitly knock down a good fighter with a punch. Rabbit punches do not count in this department. hmmm

Toney was hurt everytime Peter landed with something significant.
But wahtever, the only thing that stands is the Peter won, Toney lost.
