Toney dominated a guy Wlad struggled with

Toney has always been the best heavyweight in the world skill-wise, but he might just be the best heavyweight period. The biggest puncher couldn't take him out, couldn't do **** with him except in 2 rounds. Toney can beat any HW out there, and I'd give him a great chance against Wladimir. I know styles make fights, but Toney couldn't hurt Peter, yet he dominated him last night. Toney is way shorter than Wlad, but would it matter? I guess we'll never know because this sport is so corrupt as to screw a legend like Toney out of the business. I think I'm done with boxing for a while.

Are you kiddng me? What a hypocrite !

Wlad won every second of the fight, except for one round where he was only once legitimately KD (which is off balance shot any way).

Wlad did against Peter like 20 times better than Toney did against Peter.

And to remind you, Wlad actually WON the fight with Peter.

Agreed on everything, & even though Toney doesn't have the Knockout power against HW, his shots do alot of damage, just look at Rahman & Peter's faces, eyes swollen, mouth busted up, those little fists of his are like jackhammers. I don't know how I could watch boxing with the same enjoyment think that the guy who clearly won the fight has a good chance of getting ****ed sideways.

Toney would have a really hard time with Wlad. Wlad would just back up or circle and use his reach to keep Toney at the end of his jab all night long. If Toney tried to get inside, Wlad would just grab onto him and hold until the ref broke them up. You know, the regular Steward heavy-weight plan.

Toney actually hurt Peter in the 6th round, which surprsied me.

Peter got dominated by Toney and Wlad, the only difference was Wlad was knocked down 3 times by Peter, legit or not.

I think boxing will screw Toney from now on, it started with Ruiz and will not end with Peter.

I dunno, Why so much hate for Wlad. Wlad beat Peter, Toney could not.
Ann Diego, if you think that Wlad done worse then Toney, you are a hypocrite, and I dont even need to start on the nuthugging part, you know it yourself.
Toney lost, fair and square. HE just cant produce at HW.

If you think Toney dominated this fight, your opinion does not count and you have no right to be blasting anyone else. Going into the 12th Freddie Roach looked Toney in the eyes and said "PUT HIM ON HIS BACK". Does that sound like a confident corner to you? In his heart, he knew James was behind.

Toney put up a good fight but was overpowered and knocked off balance and forced to move backwards all night. A close but clear cut win for Peter. At best you might have Toney drawing with him, and that's if you give a lot of weight to those weak combos off of the counters that Toney occasionally scored.
