      He's a fan favorite.

Of course this is gonna happen. But oh well it is what it is. Peter won. We can argue until the cows come home.

what are you talking about? it was about 60-40 in predictions, and the Peter fans are admitting that Toney dominated. You might as well leave boxingscene at this point because no one will ever take you seriously again

I had Toney winning by 3 points, with the deduction. So, I didn't see it as a landslide, by any means, but I really disagree with the way he scores his fights. You can't sit and consistently eat hard jabs and counter rights and then steal the round by landing a couple "more powerful" blows. There is something to be said for consistency through an entire round. I gave Peters rounds 3 and 5, because he rocked Toney and had him in trouble in both those rounds, but otherwise, I didn't see Peters big shots trumping Toney's. This, biggest-punch-wins scoring is ruining boxing.

            "quality over quantity"???

            pro rules award rounds on

            clean punching
            defense
            ring generalship
            effective aggression

not on thinking in hindsight who hurt who more,

and that is why knockdowns are scored with an entire point, following your reasoning "hurt" is double-counted.

what a great scoring systems you just invented. I usually read your posts with interest but i now realize you are willing to invent a scoring system to back up your claims

He also has many haters, many people hate Toney for speaking his mind.

After seeing your scorecard I can't take anything you say about boxing seriously anymore.

I don't think many people really understand how boxing is supposed to be scored, but take the videogame route to scoring a fight.

It was a good fight, I thought JT won the fight but there was some close rounds I guess the judges gave Peter.
