    Good post Fuego.

I agree although I'm still a huge fan of the sport and always will be. I never watched the fight tonight, just read thread after thread on how Toney got robbed. It's a landslide. I've seen one or maybe 2 posters saying Peter actually won.

Damn, the State Commission should overturn the decision. And Don King should be left face down in a ditch. Seriously, he needs to be fired. He's messing up lives. I've never agreed with Diegofuego before, but this **** has just gone to far. It makes me lose faith in the very sport I participate in.

yeah this **** is starting to frustrate me, seems like all the people making money on this sport (the promoters, the sanctioning bodies, don king, the networks, the impressionable judges) are trying to kill it.

Thats too much, it was a close fight. I was rooting for Toney felt he won. But Peters made it a close fight in every round. Especially the early rounds and the later rounds he stold some round in the last minute. I gave Peters the last round, though Toney tried to steal it at the end. But he just was too relaxed in the last round and didnt throw enough punchs to give him the round. Over all the fight was close. I think if Toney would have won the last round their would have been a bigger case for him winning the fight. But i wouldn't go as far as calling it corrupt or fixed.

i've never wanted a person to die before, but i can honestly say if i had a gun and don king was right there, i would blow his ****ing brains out

and the fight was semi-close, but super-duper-uper clear

I wouldnt put it past that. Peter is young and wants to be named the big KO puncher of the division that we can fall back on to make money, Toney is old and skilled and no one wants him around anymore it seems like. 116-111 are they insane? It just seems like the WBC or whoever got to the judges.

Its just a shame to his legacy and the sports legacy. I can only hope, as a MMA fan, that it doesnt take the same route. Although I know it will.

We as die hard fans should know whats real and true and try and see past the corruption

It's unfortunate that fights of this magnitude end in controversy. I didn't think that there was a clear winner tonight where you could cry robbery. Boxing's not a sport where you can go into "overtime" or a sport where they make the scoring public, so people get disappointed and upset when the final result goes against what they thought they saw during the event...

Forget to add about the "feeling sick of this sport" if you feel that way then im calling you a newbie to boxing. **** happens, this is boxing, emotions can get involved when viewing a fight and when scoring a fight or course also corruption but this fight imo, has no corruption or fixed title.

The fight was fought at a slow pace, a pace that Toney set up, but Peters was still their exchanging punchs. This was a close fight. Both fighters are warriors but somone has to lose. I hate to hear somone say they are sick of this sport based on a decision, as if they've never seen close fights before.

Don King on the news the other day said "George Bush is a revolutionary person" One crooked fool agrees with another. Anyone who says that should be shot and thrown off a bridge. I still enjoy the sport but they need to have something that can overturn these ridiculous decisions. I can't speak on this fight since I haven't seen it.

Damn, Toney looked like he got stabbed in the chest in one of the pics they had. He looked shocked and speechless.
