That's a huge fine. Castillo does not make a lot of money. That is going to put a huge dent in his bank account.

He did it to duck Lewis much like Castillo, knowing he had to make weight for the trilogy since October, came in 5 pounds overweight in June, knowing he couldn't beat Corrales at an even weight. It's called looking for a way out.

Bowe threw out the belt because the WBC told him to either fight Lewis of get stripped. His response to them was to junk the belt.

I like to hear from others that Bowe ducked Lewis.

To me it looks more like a ***** move by Corrales. He went ahead with the 2nd fight then got knocked out. Now, same weight condition and this time Corrales has no balls.

I've heard, Castillo wanted to make the fight at 140, Corrales refused. This fight could happen at 140 but Corrales would never dare to fight Castillo again, the weight issue was just an excuse. And his lawsuit show just how much of a ***** Corrales really is.

Ricardo Lopez still fought the hard hitting Nicaraguense Rosendo Alverez and guess what Lopez won. www.cyberboxingzone.com/boxing/lopval.htm

This fight almost didn’t come off. At the official weigh in, Lopez made weight easily by scaling in at 103 1/2 pounds. His opponent could not match his effort. Alvarez stepped onto the scale at 108 1/4, a full division above the limit, and was immediately stripped of his WBA 105 lb. title. Lopez could have turned down the fight at that point, and even threatened to. At some point in the next 24 hours, a deal was struck: the fighters would re-weigh in with a new limit of 115 pounds...3 full weight divisions over the 105 lb. ranks from which both fighters hailed. Alvarez made the weight, by one pound, and the fight was on.
Rolando Reyes fought Castillo who came in 5 pounds overweight and gues what he still fought Castillo and though he didn't win, he didn't get knocked out.

thanks for proving your bias. oh yeah, Corrales should totally fight him when he's weight drained and DCorrales is a completely healthy whole weight division above him. ****** prick.

Ferocity, that's sad that you have to justify Castillo's actions. He didn't make weight, he cheated himself, he cheated Corrales, and he cheated the FANS. What's more to get?

You're just like the rest of the mexicans on this board.
