This would be a very close fight,it's about who's got more power,i can see Cotto hurting Castillo and Castillo hurting Cotto,but Cotto's one of the best 2day in recovering after being hurt,i cant say the same 4 Castillo,so i'll go with Cotto

i highly doubt he would murder cotto or cotto murdering him, it would be a close fight with both getting hurt or rattled at some part of the fight but i would take cotto by late stoppage.

Have you forgotten Cotto hasn't been stopped and JLC has?

cotto's been all over the canvas from shots from guys way lesser than the guys castillo's taken flush shots from.

Most likely scenario would be Cotto delving into his signature body attack and getting blasted on the chin by a Castillo hook as he attemps to deliver his own leverage, resulting in a fight with multiple cotto knockdowns

Castillo is not a one-punch ko artist(a la Torres), he is more of a volume puncher who is there to be hit. Cotto gets in trouble when he underestimates his opponents and throw caution to the wind. When he respect his opponents he does much better. I bet you that he will be more cautious with Castillo and win by UD or KO. And those 7 extra lbs will likely do wonders for cotto who have being killing himself to make weight. Not like castillo who couldn't care less about making weight, lately.

Everybody favoring Castillo!!! Man, I guess I'm gonna get rich if this fight ever happens. Let's look into the match up, eventhough Castillo has been stopped before getting murdered, Cotto has been rocked, so Castillo has the better chin right? I don't know about that, i've seen Cotto hurt throwing punches, slipping, clinching and deffending himself, not laying on the ropes with arms down taking bombs from lighter fighter. Who's the better boxer? Remember Castillo-PBF2, Castillo-Casamayor? Sure Castillo is great when fighters stand in front of him and he's able to tee off, unfortunately for him Cotto can BOX, and he knows how to fight moving back wards! In the power department, I would say they're pretty even there, only that Cotto is the bigger man! How about speed? Can Castillo be any slower? Cotto's combinations are fast and powerful, so are Castillo's but nowhere near Cotto's.
Please throw in some facts or back your opinions up!
