LOL!!! All I'm saying is Oquendo has never impressed me. Mo Better Harris almost whooped his ass once because he was laying back so much, to say nothing of being stopped by John Ruiz. I'll confess those are the only two fight....actually the Ruiz affair was more clips....that I've seen of Oquendo; but "timid" is the word that came to mind. Sure, he could outbox Evander; but I feel Holyfield knew what he was doing when he picked him as an opponent.

fluent the swuami is going to look into his crystal ball and predict the future............ok..its coming to me.... i see holyfield looking surprisingly decent, dare i say good, in this fight and possibly even winning by KO. i see more and more people jumping on the holyfield bandwagon soon after....with all of boxingscene.com is in a wild posting frenzy creating topics like 'HOW LONG TIL HOLYFIELSD UNIFIES DA TITLEZ" and "OMG HOLYFIELD PWNZ" . i see holyfield getting a title fight after that and...thats right.... winning. i see the person he beats for the title either lyakovich or maskaev, or even brock if he grabs a belt by then. the crystal ball gets fuzzy after that and plus im really high so we won't even get into unification

but back to reality, hes throwing combinations again so maybe it really was that shoulder injury that made him look like **** in his last 6 fights. i thought his combinations looked very crisp and accurate against that fat white guy. albeit it was against a fat white guy

Ya know, ya had me with ya until ya started mentioning Holyfield winning the title back. I think you got a short in your Crystal Ball....'cause my Magic 8 Ball says, "No Way in Hell"....'course, it is a customized 8 Ball.

If oquendo boxes Evander he probably wins, if he brawls he loses!

To answer a lot of questions at once

                    1) I had Oquendo beating Byrd 115-113 in a close win
                    2) Ruiz was ahead of Oquendo on at least 2 of the judges' scorecards for that fight. Ruiz was winning, and Oquendo fought his fight.
                    3) I agree with K-Dogg that Oquendo is just so timid that Holyfield might be able to take him. He's a great combination puncher, but he fights to the level of his opponent AND HE FALLS ASLEEP as evidenced by his fights with Tua and Ruiz. It is a winnable fight for Holyfield, but in no way am I trying to say Oquendo sucks.

I agree. This may be the most winnable fight Holyfield can make with a decent heavyweight, solid matchmaking IMO. A win here and he will probably get some kind of title shot or definitely an elimination bout for a #1 spot.
