This is a horrible fight for Holyfield to take. He will look the worst against a heavyweight with good handspeed. Fres Oquendo isn't great, but he has some of the best handspeed at heavyweight. I see Holyfield getting completely humiliated and not winning a round.

Dammit, what is Holyfield trying to prove or accomplish by continuing to fight? This is ridiculous.

Evander seems to be popular in Texas, nobody cares about this fight in NY, AC or Vegas.

I like this fight. Oquendo is unlikely to hurt Holyfield and unlikely to lose to Holyfield.

I see a lot of ignorant comments here, Oquendo IS a a major step up, he has got power, certainly enough to still cause damage to an ever aging Holyfield. Oquendo is one of the most awkward fighters in the division, and most of the loses he's had have been unlucky. He's a better boxer than Samil Sam is, but a different type of fighter. Too big of a step at this stage for Holyfield.

Former four time heavyweight champion of the world Evander Holyfield has informed ********** that he will face Fres Oquendo on November 24 or November 28. The Holyfield-Oquendo bout will take place in San Antonio, Texas. Holyfield was originally targeting a bout with Sinal Sam, but told **********.com that fell through when the German heavyweight overpriced himself. Remember where you heard it first! 7:19 PM -"btalk
Two shot fighters looking to see who ends up completely brain dead. Sounds like a big PPV event!

Fres will stop Holyfield and hopefully put an end to all of this madness......Holyfield will never be **** again.........I wish he would bow out gracefully before being embarrassed yet again.

Oquendo is a more difficult opponent than Sam. Sam fights like a poor puncher but without much punching power. And he has no footwork. But Oquendo is a much better boxer and faster, and he can move well. That will be a tough fight for Oldiefield.
