Wright Wants Taylor, and De La Hoya

Exactly my point. Winky fans generally say it was one-sided and a dominant performance, which proves how little they know about scoring fights. Taylor fans admit it was a close fight. Hell, even objective fans say a draw was the best score (and this doesn't include anyone with Winky avatars or Knives, or King Jaffe Joe Mama because they have proven their bias when it comes to Jermain Taylor over and over). Then you also have to figure in how many people are against Taylor for beating Hopkins twice. Taylor has been public enemy #1 since that first fight with Hopkins and will always be unjustly criticized for it.

Almost everyone I heard talk about it said it was a close fight, yet the majority of people scored for Winky by a round.

These always turn into an arguing of who won T-T. Anyhow I had Taylor by 1 round, though im not debating it I could care less what others think. Whats important is the first post. Winky rematch against Taylor would be big, but I'd rather them get 1 more fight each before that. I'd love to see Taylor in against Ouma, Mora, Miranda, or Abrahm. Also, Id like to see Wright against maybe Joe. C (He said he'd fight up, that would be a great fight I think). Then they rematch after it, wether they win, lose, or draw thier fight inbetween. Say Taylor fights one of the 4 I mentioned and wins (which is more then likely the case in all of them, moreso in some) it'll get him more publicity for other fights, (escpecially mora, even though hes probably the easiest, hes the most well known due to contender). If Winky fought and beat Joe C. thatd be HUGE. They could then make there mega-fight rematch maybe 2x bigger. Though hes are only wishes and I'll settle just for a rematch but if the other parts come in .... it'd be a nice treat.

I look at it this way Winky has been in the game of boxing for years and should knows nothing is handed to you when judges are in control. Everyone knows when you come as a challenger on the "Champions" turf to take his belt you got to dominate the fight. I have to say this is the best fight I've seen winky fight walking down taylor using his quick right jab, but he won't survive to long in the middlewight class that one flow. Taylor is young and a strong puncher and I don't care what nobody say he was punching through winky's guard he wobbled him a couple times and unleash some good body shots. Winky felt that and he was mad because I don't think he wants to go through it again. Taylor is still learning and getting better in every fight which I see the rematch as you exciting because Winky is not going to change up he never does very old school set in his ways. If Taylor keeps winky in the middle of the ring there will winky have some problems. Emanuel Stewart will be on it with Taylor to improve. As for the 12th round its up in the air but as I say if you're the challenger I think its your job to show the judges you came take something from the Champion I don't care if taylor just stood in the ring not moving at all hes the champion until other wise. Winky was doing more putting his arms in the air than trying destory Taylor...

Dammit, it's just the habbit of ignorant posters here in this forum to immediately cry robbery everytime there's a close fight and their boi ended up on the losing end. that's all in it.

That was a very close fight which can go eitherway, but if you're really a boxing fan then you should know and understand that both fighters failed to established themselves and dominate the other and in cases like that there's no way the title can ever go to the challenger.

It's a lose/draw situation for Winky. And better things happened, that's why he got a draw.

All the online polls, the majority of the press at ringside, as well as the Assoc press.

More people had Winky winning that fight.

Doesn't mean it wasn't close, but you should really look at the context of the comments you're jumping on.

If I was Oscar Delahoya, i'd tell Winky "you're FIRED!"

Here is Delahoya helping Winky out and he goes out and wants to fight him, not even asking Delahoya first if he'd be alright with them fighting again. Winky is a *****, and i'll be glad when he rematchs Taylor and Taylor knocks him out.

Come on man... you obviously don't know who De La Hoya is.. also, belive it or not, but you don't have to be mortal enemies to fight one another.. i could def. see this fight happening, they both have respect for one another and it'd be an interesting contest..

Delahoya is a good guy, but Winky didn't mention that he had Oscars permission to call him out. Why do I say Delahoya permission because Winky is employed by Delahoya there a team. How can he call out Delahoya when Delahoya just said he'd help start Winky Promotions? That shows why type of person Winky is. Hes a ****head, he talks gang of **** and now hes back to asking for a rematch with Taylor, ****en cry baby that is. You think Oscar and Winky don't talk? I'm sure there both aware of the possibility.. Winky wouldn't come out with the idea without it being mentioned to Oscar first, guarenteed. Even still, i'm sure Oscar wouldn't be offended by it with or without previous knowledge. It seems you just don't like Winky, therefore, would like to make him sound bad. Least that's how it looks to me..
