i love how everyone is sooo sure that there fighter is gonna win.

its either toney wins by lopsided UD, or peter wins by early KO. no close decisions :P

i got toney winning a lopsided decision

it's just a complete style mismatch for Peter. he has absolutely no chance unless of course James comes into the fight in terrible shape, but you don't base pre-weigh-in predictions on the fighters' weights. you assume they both come in, weighing what they want to, and you pick a winner. that's why I just think all these guys picking Peter to win are going to be exposed for what little boxing knowledge they have. now if Toney weighs in at 235-240 on weigh-in day, THEN i could see people picking Peter. picking him before that makes no sense unless you overrate Peter and underrate Toney. even then I don't see how you can pick against Toney, especially when the opponent is one of the least skilled heavyweights I have ever seen.

and I guarantee if the fight is close like 7-5, people all claim Peter was robbed just like in the Jirov fight. I can't believe some people had Jirov winning that or even making it close. Toney dominated that fight, winning 8 rounds easily, yet people that hated Toney still claimed it was a close one.

I'm the only one who picked Toney by T/KO between 7 & 9, i doubt it, but I'm gonna go with my gut again since it predicted that Rahman would lose. Come on intestines don't fail me know

This is one of those fights in which my mind goes for the proven vet, but my heart won't allow me to ignore the hunger and power of the younger Peter.

Peter is coming to win this fight, and he knows one shot can get him there. Toney cannot lay on the ropes with this guy. If he allows Peter to come in and hit him to the body, Toney will wear down.

It all depends if Toney comes in shape. Last fight against Rahman, he entered the ring looking like Biz Markie. If he does that against a big puncher like Peter, he may find himself on his back.

If Toney has conditioned himself properly, he can take Peter to school. His defense is sophisticated and he can make you miss from close and medium range. He has the quicker hands, great upper body movement, combinations and ring smarts. Peter hasn't shown in his two fights since he lost Wladimir Klitschko that he hasn't learned anything from the loss. Fighting no-hopers to build your confidence back is not the correct path for fighting one of the craftiest pugs to ever swing fists. Peter has to prove that he has learned from his loss last year how to deal with adversity. He can't just swing for the fences against Toney. Toney will eat him alive.

Toney has the style to make a crude slugger like Peter look foolish, but this is a guy coming from a former middleweight titlist against a super heavyweight ****er. Toney needs to be about 225-230 to have pull this out. If he does that, he can win a unanimous decision.

I got Toney by ud. But it will be no easy fight. Peter will be swinging for the fences on every shot, Toney will have to **** Peters to the body and make him miss. Toney will have to stay in close, from what i've seen Peters needs room to punch, so Toney cannot give Peters any room. Toney may be better off on the ropes, but, knowing Toney he will test Peters in the middle of the ring first and see what kind of timing and speed Peters has and what better suits him. I expect Peters to tire in the 3rd part of the fight and Toney to counter punch all night through out the fight.
