    Holyfield:

    James Toney
    Lennox Lewis
    Mike Tyson
    Michael Moorer
    Rid**** Bowe
    Ray Mercer
    Bobby Czyz
    Larry Holmes
    George Foreman

Fought probably I'd say the best opposition of any heavyweight of all time perhaps.

      Ali is an obvious choice.
He was expected to be destroyed by Liston and Foreman, but stopped both of them.
He fought Patterson, Shavers, Fraiser, Norton.

But Robinson must have fought everyone he possibly could have.

He has a good resume, but it does not compare to ALi's.

tyson is surely the most exciting fighter ever and in most people's eyes saved boxing when it had hit the ****s

but come on to be one of the greatest p4p

you beat the best of your era ( tyson did not as holyfield and lewis beat him )
you overcome adversity ( tyson although showing a great chin and heart was eventually stopped by holyfield and in the rematch resorted to biting holyfileds ear off and then in what many regarded as tyson make or break comeback fight he was clinically destroyed by lewis ( though taking some of the biggest bombs time after time from arguably the most destructive right hand in history before falling and this blew me away i regarded tysons chin up to that point as rubbish when it clearly was'nt)these were in my opinion tysons make or breaks ( to prove his worth as a p4p great) and he failed
to me the 90s was lewis's era and 80s tyson's. well 90s split between lennox and holyfield. u 1 of the only 1s to say tyson had heart. now i know u know your boxing.

It's funny that a lot of ppl here say DLH and don’t mention Trinidad, when DLH made a career fighting Tito's leftovers...

              1. Ali
              2. SRL
              3. Duran
              4. Hearns
              5. Hagler
              6. Morales
              7. Benitez
              8. Gomez
              9. Trinidad
              10. Barrera

Oscar De La Hoya fought absolutely EVERYONE except Wright and Forrest. He fights the best out there across multiple divisions. I don't think anyone has faced tougher competition than De La Hoya.

that's a pretty good point. Trinidad's opposition is top notch as well.

It's sugar ray robinson, without a doubt, and Hagler's second.
