I didn't order it cause i had no money if not i would have ordered the fight. Just as i ordered the Diaz v. Quiles ppv. I back my fighters if i belive in them, and Diaz didn't let me down as he won. And Margarito won.

Since when are you a fool for ordering a ppv?

Last fight i was at, the person sitting next to me read the 1st and last page of the program i bought at the fights the same night. Its good to see live fights, but somtimes you want to order them at the comfort of your home. Nothing like a live fight but seeing it on tv is second best. Plus last two fight i went too, i paid over 20 bucks on each fight ticket, but every seat was great view. edit: i paid 35 for one and 20 for the other show.

Margarito CAN NOT afford to lose this fight, if he loses, hes back in obscurity and all his demands at Mayweather will be for nothing. If Margarito loses this fight, this board will go crazy.

Margarito was the Headliner on ESPN PPV for the Cintron fight. A card that had Mosely on the undercard. Mosely fought and had some trouble with Davis Estrada. The same Davis Estrada that Cintron recently beat. Cintron is a good notch in any fighters belt. He may soon become the IBF belt holder.

Margarito hype is so high on the Internet that he has gone from relatively anonymous alphabet belt holder to top welterweight contender and "most feared fighter in the world" per Bob Arum.

He was ignored by HBO and Showtime for a while but the groundswell of support led by maxboxing.com, boxingscene.com and other sites has catapulted Margarito to the point where Jim Lampley has openly acknowledged that the top welterweights do not want to fight him. He has said so about Shane Mosley, Floyd Mayweather and Carlos Baldomir during recent broadcasts.

So, no, he surely cannot afford a loss, because unless it's highly (i.e. legitimately) controversial, he will fade back into "Bolivian" from which he's emerged. However, by openly acknowledging he is looking at the Williams fight for 12/2, he has backed himself into a corner. He could (should?) have hidden behind the proposed Clottey bout and said a Williams fight couldn't be made because the Clottey fight was "a done deal." But instead he is revealing here that it is not, and if they don't fight on 12/2, he will be ripped for ducking Williams, and he will lose alot of support and credibility.

I'm sure if Margarito-Williams doesn't happen, the explanation given by Arum/Margarito will be that "Williams wanted an unrealistic amount of money". That's my prediction, it's just too good to be true. If the fight is made, I will commend Top Rank and Margarito, if not, well, Margarito becomes a hypocrite.

Margarito/Gomez had about 40,000 buys. I wouldn't exactly look for anything good out of that. Margarito can headline all the **** PPV's he wants, it doesn't mean a thing.

Cotto/Malignaggi had 60,000 and they went head to head with Hopkins/Tarver.

Now that there's a possibility of a Williams fight happening, Margarito will look like a total ***** if he doesn't fight the guy. Is there anyone actually excited about a Clottey fight? Not saying the guy sucks, but there's no hype around him like there is around Williams. If Margarito destroyed Williams, it would be a huge win for him considering the push HBO has been giving Williams...

It wouldn't matter if he did 40 thousand the fact it Margarito headlined a ppv. Somthing Williams hasn't done, Somthing, Mayweather never did before Gatti or vice, versa.

Margarito doesn't need to hide from nobody. Many people belive that Clottey is a tough or tougher opponet then Williams but its -highschool- popularity that has people wanting to see Williams in with Margarito.

Willaims will want millions if not a million to fight Margarito which is unrealistic. To the Williams fans, before Margarito announced the millions off to Mayweather and Winky, was Williams calling out Margaritos name?

All Williams wants is a good payday when getting his but kicked by Margarito. ****, he belives he can get a fight with Delahoya the guy is belive his own hype. As long as Williams doesn't ask for ridicules amount of money then the fight will be made.

Haha, yeah, an ESPN PPV card that no one watched. It's like winning the cy young in the minor leagues.
