The espn card did well for the numbers they expected.

Diaz was supposed to be the main event but i think he got sick or he opponet got sick. But then they gave the main event to Margarito. Supposedly it was supposded to be one or a few more espn ppv, but i don't know what happened, cause they said the ppv was a succes.

Dude, the margarito vs gomez fight on ppv was freaking cheap and it still was a very very bad buys of 40,000 yikes!!!!!. If williams would have fought either quintana or collazo on ppv and he was the headliner then i gurantee you it be more then 40,000 buys.

                    I don't know man, I disagree.

It was very small ppv numbers but the only reason there was any at all was because of the hispanic audience.

I think a Margarito v Quintana or Collazo does more buys than Williams v Quintana or Collazo.

But I'd gladly pay double to see Margarito/Williams

No, the main event was going to be Margarito-Cintron regardless of Juan Diaz.

Diaz suffered a cut in sparring a week before the card and his fight with Ebo Elder was called off. It was a potentially explosive fight, and a huge loss for the card, one of the biggest reasons I didn't order it. (That, and oh yeah, my cable provider didn't even carry it.)

In fact, I think Diaz-Elder would have led off the telecast.
