How can he be the GOAT when you could argue that he really lost his last 3 fights. Alot of people think so. I think that he beat X both times and that the Winky fight was a draw but I do think it was only a draw because Winky clowned in that last round.

In my opinion he cant be the greatest because he came along at the right time. There is no way he even has a chance against a prime Hopkins. The other thing that bothers me is that he just doesnt look like the greatest of All Time. He doenst even really look like a top 5 guy now so how can he be the greatest?

He's really just winning off of age & his big athletic ability but you know a great fighter when you see it and Taylor does not look like that at all. His coordination is terrible. He doesnt look at all like Floyd, a prime X, prime Tito, prime Oscar, Pac, and a bunch of other guys. You just dont feel that impressed when you watch him. He looks nothing like Hagler, Hearns, or Leonard.

He could be great but I think he will always be uncoordinated and that will cause alot of people to not think of him in that way because pretty much every great fighter is highly coordinated. Taylor has the speed & power but doesnt have that coordination and I dont think he will ever get it

the path his on is deff the right way to being considered a GOAT. it dont matter if people feels he lost some of those fights or not, the judgement is still a W and the perception of Taylor being lucky for his big wins will be irrelavent if he continues on this path and makes some impressive wins over other elite fighters.

He might be the most naturally talented MW I've seen - he went all the way to the undisputed MW title by only knowing how to throw two punches (left jab and right cross)!

Once he masters left hooks, right uppercuts and body shots, he'll be the sports dominant fighter. He is able to deliver his punches very, very fast - as I have footage of some of his early fights that were from handheld camera - but couldn't show that against wily veterans with wily defenses in his last three fights. He also has the best left jab of the last 10 years.

He doesn't beat Calzaghe right now, but may be able to take him out next year when he's learned more punches and 'fills out' more.

              In three very close fights.
Personally, I thought Jermain won all three, but thats a different story.
Right now Taylor isnt GOAT, and im a Taylor fan.
I think he will be down the road.

                shut up

if floyd beats margarito, baldomir, beats a couple up and comers, and a few old timeres such as odlh and shane mosely, will he be the goat?

if castilio beats freitas , wins the rematch with corrales, beats both diazs and beats some old timers such as chavez and casamayor, will he b the goat?

i could go on and on.

Nobody can argue with that. Whether you think he lost one, two or all three of those fights (I think he BARELY took all 3), they were still very close fights against the best competition available and shouldn't diminish his status much. Hanging with two of the top fighters in the world puts you right along with those fighters. No doubt he is on the right track to being great.

Naah, He is big, but his offensive arsenal is limited, and he seemed very timid against Winky. And I also hate how he trows his left hand.
