Tank said he's fighting a champ but not at 130 or 135. So people hve assumed he must be planning to move down to 126. If he's not moving down, then it seems he might be making Russell move up, PBC fighter, decent cherry to pick etc fits the mo.

Pacquiao and Sean Gibbons have both said they were negotiating for that fight and Gibbons has said they had "several discussions" with Team GBP. The one denying it is Oscar De La Hoya, more than likely because he really doesnt want that fight to happen. But who knows.

Negotiating and pursueing mutiple options is nothing new neither. Silly to think you have to give one guy your whole attention, what if the fight for w/e reason falls through? Now you're scrambling.
