✋ Bad matchup for Valdez, plain and simple. Stevenson is absurdly slick that he shouldn't fight other boxers but himself. If anybody is willing to fight him, then good luck!

Trainers aren’t miracle workers and I think if Reynoso has any say in it, he won’t let Valdez fight Stevenson. It’s one thing to get Valdez ready for a come forward brawler with limited foot movement and limited boxing skills, it’s another to get him ready for a lefty,slick boxer with good movement, jab, counter puncher, etc.

All of a sudden Berchelt is just a come forward brawler with limited foot movement and boxing skills. Where was everyone saying this when he was picked as the clear favorite just 24 hours ago?

The right term is not slick is more like chicken run boxers, and
Shakira stevensons has not fought anybody, just low level competition, so yeah anybody can look good against nobodies, and the beauty of boxing is that one punch can change everything in a blink of an eye

I would've scoffed at this a couple years ago but Reynoso has made a big impact on Valdez's career.
