Thank You Almighty God for him being given a clean bill of health! Miguel looked concussed from the 4th on. Oscar fought a great fight, but makes me really pay attention to the CTE inclusions about the fighters. I believe he was dehydrated beyond acceptable standards. Take nothing away from Valdez, fight should've been stopped prior to the KO. I guess the Media Machine has a greater influence than I may have realized.
Thankful that Miguel is OK. Welcome Valdez!

I watched that fight with about 5 other military veterans from the neighbourhood and all of them looked concerned. I thought we may be on our way to seeing another medical case. Very glad to hear that it didn’t happen. But they really need to have EMS on standby
An ambulance and EMT's are on site. The ringside physician was in the ring immediately monitoring the situation. He was obviously breathing or more urgent action would have been taken. It did look scary though. Glad he is okay!

Thanks God! For one - Berchelt is a good guy and he did NOT deserve any long-lasting damage. He even didn't hit Valdez when that guy clinched while he could have aim at Valdez' back of the head that time to diminish power from his foe.
A classy boxer who's only negative side was that he never tried fighting other champs ducking loma and acting as if Gervonta/Machado never existed (granted, they also acted like Berchelt never existed).

Also, I am glad that soft people will not get another argument about stopping the fight. This was fight of the Year contender by the time it ended. If it was stopped in 4th or later (when Berchelt even took a round or two) it would have been just another fight at best.
Gays forget that Berchelt was a raining champion and that Valdez was from the weight-category BELOW hence his power punch is less damaging that lets say Gervonta's. Valdez managed to aim and time great for high damage which Berchelt could neutralize with time and switchng the tide of the fight (which he did for few rounds).

Actually, I believe it was referee Russel Mora whose fault there is in demoralizing Berchelt exactly before last round! Berchelt was feeling like a champion until that jerk came and said that he will stop the fight and Berchelt is doing sht. You can see Berchelt's face FADED and hence he went all-in that round and went for an unnecessary bravado windmilling his hands with ZERO defense.

This knockout was kind of like when pac got knocked out....I am glad Berchalt is Alright.....Needs to rest the brain for about a year so that it can gel again and if he wants to fight again move up to 135...but after this knockout he should just retire with his money and health intact ......I am glad he didn't wind up like adonis chickenson....Berchalt has a nice looking Girlfriend.

Glad he's fine but he took a lot of punishment that I think will stick with him for possibly the rest of his career.....that was brutal but glad he's ok because that looked very scary for a minute.

Agreed...I've never been big on berchelt's skills in the ring and thought he was highly overrated...I guess that's what ESPN does. Lomachenko would have completely schooled this guy.

"Same big KO but the difference with Marquez Vs Pacman was fight was 50/50 before the big KO. Berchelt was already badly beaten before the big KO. Hope Berchelt is really OK now".
