Berchelt and his corner had no adjustments to make. They were clueless. Once he got buzzed in that 4th round I believe, the lights went off upstairs and he was just a zombie in there. He never cut off the ring, he followed oscar around all night long. His corner didn't seem to tell him to cut off the ring. As they were as confused as he was about what was happening in there. Trainer needs to communicate that a bit more

I have always maintained berchelt was overated. He beat old fighters or damaged like miura and vargas who had been in many wars and sosa who at the point was a punching bag. He also had a big weight advantage against these guysComment

Good to hear he's alright. I think he's certainly drained at 130 and needs to go up to 135. It's rougher sledding up there, but I think it will do his body good. There are some very fun fights that could be made with Berchelt there, even before you talk about the beltholders and guys at the very top. For example: Verdejo, Alberto Machado, Linares, Isaac Cruz, Kambosos, Tennyson, Commey etc.Comment
