UNCASVILLE, Connecticut Adrien Broner's first fight in two years wasn't nearly as easy as odds-makers and some fans anticipated. Jovanie Santiago was unknown and unproven prior to Saturday night, but the previously unbeaten Puerto Rican gave Broner everything he could handle in their 12-round welterweight fight. A rusty Broner overcame a slow start, though, rallied in the second half and won a unanimous decision in the main event of Showtime's tripleheader from Mohegan Sun Arena.

Hearing the decision is a little disappointing. Santiago was robbed.

Nah, Broner is horrible. He can't be fixed, he just sucks. He has talent but can't use it

That's been my opinion of Broner for a very long time now. I can't understand how people have any faith in him as a serious contender. His actions outside of the ring are the only thing keeping him relevant at this point.
