I´m OK with the win but it was not the war we expected because Valdez employed the " slick afro-style " of hloding any time Berchelt tried to land a punch which should have cost him at least a warning for excessive holding. All boxers are getting away with the holding tactic which is not only illegal but messes up a good fight and referees don´t do anything about it. Nothing like Barrera-Morales.

Until tonight there was no fight that made anyone think Valdez could beat Berchelt. I’m not guaranteeing a win by Shakur I just think they’re both cut from the same cloth. Amateur and Olympic Pedigree showed tonight and Shakur is miles ahead of of Berchelt. That’s all I’m saying.

Kudos to Valdez, great win! Looked like Bertchelt's punch resistance was shot from dehydration... Never recovered from the first left hook that didn't look that devastating. Don't know.. he just didn't look right.
