Broner's dilemma: Too undisciplined to make 140, not enough power to be successful @ 147!

That's lame. Another sleezy political move in boxing. Don't tell the public the truth, the casuals will have no idea. Broner going to be a monster in there (size wise) and blow away Santiago and the casuals are going to be like, OMG HE'S BACK! HE CAN KO ANTHONY JOSHUA!!!! AAAH!!!!!

Yet, only for the fortunate few that follow the news and politics of boxing will know, this POS probably weighed like 148lbs and still had to lose 1lb to hit 147lbs. Meanwhile Santiago was probably 139lbs... It's really crappy and again shows how ugly of a sport boxing can be.

Exactly. Been said the same thing. The messed up thing about it is that it's so blantantly obvious, he doesn't even try to hide it. He just looks for a Hispanic guy with a pretty record to gloss over it. He does nothing to advance the careers of anybody at PBC that is not black and that's the truth.

Brian Castano, David Benavidez, Alfredo Angulo, Sergiy Derevyanchenko, Brandon Figueroa, Sebastian Fundora, Danny Garcia, Krzysztof Glowacki, Tomoki Kameda, Adam Kownacki, Sergey Lipinets, Josesito Lopez, Leo Santa Cruz, Luis Nery, Caleb Plant, Andy Ruiz.

I'm actually tired of typing. There's a lot more.

I don't even care about Haymon, because I know he's doing the same as Arum, Hearn and the others. But saying he only supports black fighters is asinine. Why would he neglect the latino contingent when they're heavily into boxing? lol. He hates money?

Definitely the most fraudulent four division champion in boxing history. Look at the other names on this list. Broner is a disgrace to all of them:
                Tommy Hearns
                Sugar Ray Leonard
                Roberto Duran
                Pernell Whitaker
                Oscar De La Hoya
                Leo Gamez
                Roy Jones Jr
                Floyd Mayweather Jr
                Manny Pacquiao
                Erik Morales
                Jorge Arce
                Juan Manuel Marquez
                Nonito Donaire
                Miguel Cotto
                Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez
                Mikey Garcia
                Donnie Nietes
                Kazuto Ioka
                Leo Santa Cruz
                Saul "Canelo" Alvarez

20 of the greatest fighters of my lifetime... and Adrien Broner.

His title history is pathetic, hand selected fights by promoters:

135 - Demarco who was stopped by Valero but able to pick up valero's vacant title after his death

147 - wba from paulie malinaggi who beat some random ukranian potato farmer who seems to have gotten the title as a vacancy from yet another ukranian potato farmer. lost in his first defense to maidana

130 - vacant wbo title for beating a hairy argentinian lyft driver

140 - vacant wba for beating molina

half of his titles were directly vacant, the other half were recent vacancies

What a sleazy move by Broner and PBC,hopefully Santiago was well compensated for Broners continual lack of professionalism.

Putting a gag order on the opponent from talking about this.

The lack of transparency with PBC lately is starting to piss me off.
