Its been almost 3 years since we seen him fight someone with a solid chance to win. If Canelo wants to chase gold then he should go ahead. But when he's retired he'll have to answer why he didn't fight guys like Charlo, Ward, GGG3 or Benavidez.
Ummm Charlo said said he's a MW only. Ward has been retired for almost 4 years, and he already fought GGG x2. I'm cool with Benavidez but the dude could make/should be LHW.

Benavidez would be cool but dude lost his belt for being an unprofessional fatty. And another time for snorting coke. Maybe that's his secret to losing weight...

You really gonna blame Canelo for that??? Do you blame Canelo for Paul Williams accident??? You do know they were signed to fight??? Canelo pulled a Tanya Harding on him.

Feel bad for the Canelo haters in 2021. He wants to fight 4 times this year and unify 168.
They will be building up 4 opponents to be the one to beat him and then be disappointed. Lots of sleepless nights ahead.

No to 175 because Bivol and Beterbiev will break the redhead midget in half, and he knows it. The Kovalev dive was a one off.

Errol spence fought Mikey Garcia, Shawn Porter, got into a car accident and still went on to fight Danny Garcia. Spence is winning belts and fighting the best. Why can't Canelo do this?
Alvarez last 5 opponents are better than Spence last 5 opponents.

I can give a lot of reasons on why my argument is better.

The same posters who will criticize Canelo for not fighting at 175 lbs will defend Golovkin for not fighting Andre Ward at 168. Or they will defend Jermall Charlo for not wanting to fight at 168.

Blatant hypocrisy on their part if you ask me.

I can completely understand Canelo wanting to fight at a weight that is comfortable for him.

Having said that, 168 in my opinion is an incredibly up in the air division as far as talent goes. I honestly wonder if Bek is the best fighter in that division. Jose Uzcategui is the measuring rod. Canelo should have no problem unifying and/or becoming undisputed. A fine achievement if he campaigns and defends his titles.

You may give reasons on why your argument is better but not reasons why my argument is wrong. I also would love to hear those reasons because I doubt it.
