Depending on what he does he can become best Mexican fighter ever.
But what's wrong with giving advantages away? That's how you become great.
Floyd didn't like giving advantages away as he only wanted to keep unbeaten record, not greatness

I'm a boxing fan that wants to see the best fights, so yes I would say that.

This is simple process of elimination, he JUST said Reynoso told him not to fight in that weight class cause hes giving up too many advantages.

3rd next time step your interpretation skills up & come correct or proceed to get corrected again.
i stand by my statement, canelo never said that "he will never fight at 175 again"... did he ??

Its been almost 3 years since we seen him fight someone with a solid chance to win. If Canelo wants to chase gold then he should go ahead. But when he's retired he'll have to answer why he didn't fight guys like Charlo, Ward, GGG3 or Benavidez.
Very true, but that's the case for all such fighters. Everyone has questions to answer since this is not an organized league sport.

The only thing I don't agree with is Ward and maybe Benavidez. Only because Canelo is 5'8 !!!

At that height, even 168 is major stretch. Guys can put their hand on his head and Canelo's arms won't even come close to connecting. Imagine fighting for the next 7 years with that disadvantage, I strongly doubt he fights for more than 3 or 4 years.

              You lie.

To quote Roy Jones, they say he doesn't fight nobody, no, he just makes them look like nobodies.

You just want 'eye test' and don't care that this guy has beaten champion after champion, most recently a lineal champion.

He's winning belts IN THE RING. Not vacants like Crawford did coming up.

You need to stop with the Floyd hate. It has got to be exhausting to throw as much shade as you do. If Floyd only wanted to be unbeaten please tell me who he should have fought in order to be great in you eyes? You'll probably say something crazy like a rematch with Canelo @ 160lbs.

Fair enough Canelo, boxers with barely half your profile aren't even looking for that much smoke!

To fighting Chavez at 164.5, To having only 3 fights at 160 in the middle of which included a trip to 168. Then he left to 175, never returned to 160 because he didn't want or couldn't make the weight anymore. Now he's about to spend the next 6-7 years of his career in one weight class...

                      Lotta interesting maneuvers here.

no where in the article does it say he plans to be at 168 for the rest of his career

he said he is focusing on 168 for now and doesnt plan a return anytime soon.

he didnt say never in the next 6-7 years, you made up that part yourself and then argued that imaginary point
