All I know is that Americans need to stop having like 3-4 guys in the 'top 10 p4p' lists where all 3-4 of the guys are in the same division and haven't faced each other. That's not how it's supposed to work.

This is why many fighters don’t take big fights anymore. A loss gives people reason to dismiss you.

First and foremost, p4p is absolute trash. Doesnt matter whose list it is. Second, the answer to your question is more about fans of boxers vs fans of the SPORT of boxing. Those are good wins for thurman AND good wins for spence. And its inactivity thats stalled thurman career, regardless of the reason for it.
