    " . . .the rematch Mauricio Lara is contractually obligated to give him . . . "

How? Why? Is a rematch clause now standard in Matchroom contracts? On what basis?

Options too. Hearn has a piece of Lara. Indentured servitude for the privilege of whooping.. never mind.

Its funny how Hearn is concerned about Warrington's health and his family and doesn't want him to fight if he's not ready, buttttttt..when Lyllian Whyte got stretched he had the pen in Whyte's hand before the ref got to 10!

          Another Eddie Hearn rematch clause?

Then if Warrinngton wins they won't give Lara a rubbermatch. It's Anthony Joshua vs Andy Ruiz all over again.

People questioning the rematch clause are not thinking right (business wise). You have a rematch clause to protect your fighter in case he loses so that he can avenge his loss and so that the other guy will not try and duck or make crazy demands (I.e. salido refused to give Loma a rematch and requested crazy money etc.)

It’s funny cause Floyd had those in each of his fights no matter how much of a favorite he was and people were hailing him smart for it.

I said when he beat Frampton that was the highlight of Warrington career. Frampton is half finished and had the worst performance of his life and managed to get beat by an average fighter. **** happens.

But brit fans disagreed with me and made it out to be more than it was.

Do you know what they started talking about to me, OK get this right......

              Warringtons "underrated power"

Lmfao get out of here he has a 20% ko ratio because he can't ****ing punch its that simple.

I mean can you imagine him vs the elite of the division, jesus.

He MIGHT win a rematch, don't rule it out, if they train him to run, the Mexican kid gets complacent and the officials do josh some favours he might sc**** a close decision after suffering one knockdown or something, don't rule it out.

But he goes no further than that.

So there was no title at stake , even a Micky Mouse one and Hearn has drawn a contract up where he has 'options' a rematch clause on this guy who is and was simply too powerful for Josh. After this guys spectacular win he should be allowed to go about his business and choose his own route .Instead he's tied to a wanker who has not got his best interest at heart .Eddie Hearn and his old man are ruining boxing with these kind of games .Make no mistake Joshua and other top fighters would still be here regardless of the Hearns, the difference is they would have fought tougher opposition. Joshua and Hearn would have still made crazy money , maybe not quite as much but the important part is the fans would have got to see the real fights that they have swerved.
If Whyte managers to stay upright and beat old Povetkin will Hearn give him a rematch clause as it would be 1-1 ....I think not!

That’s because Whyte got stretched by a single punch. Warrington was concussed and beaten half to death before being KO’d. It was a bad, bad loss compared to just being knocked out.
