People questioning the rematch clause are not thinking right (business wise). You have a rematch clause to protect your fighter in case he loses so that he can avenge his loss and so that the other guy will not try and duck or make crazy demands (I.e. salido refused to give Loma a rematch and requested crazy money etc.)

It’s funny cause Floyd had those in each of his fights no matter how much of a favorite he was and people were hailing him smart for it.

So there was no title at stake , even a Micky Mouse one and Hearn has drawn a contract up where he has 'options' a rematch clause on this guy who is and was simply too powerful for Josh. After this guys spectacular win he should be allowed to go about his business and choose his own route .Instead he's tied to a wanker who has not got his best interest at heart .Eddie Hearn and his old man are ruining boxing with these kind of games .Make no mistake Joshua and other top fighters would still be here regardless of the Hearns, the difference is they would have fought tougher opposition. Joshua and Hearn would have still made crazy money , maybe not quite as much but the important part is the fans would have got to see the real fights that they have swerved.

That’s because Whyte got stretched by a single punch. Warrington was concussed and beaten half to death before being KO’d. It was a bad, bad loss compared to just being knocked out.
