Its boxing technically but with a more MMA presentation/vibe and more MMA involvement so far in terms of fighter and fanbase crossover.

Its pretty good but I dont see it blowing up into something huge because its just not unique enough imo. Boxing/MMA/kickboxing have dramatic technical differences from each other, to the extent where an elite fighter in one probably wont be elite in the other, and it still doesnt detract from how good they are in their own arena because of those major differences. Whereas BKB is like 80% regular boxing but minus the gloves and with a bit more lenience in the clinch. So it should be dominated by boxers, but the only boxers that will stick around are ones that are either badly washed up or just arent good enough to make comparable or better money in boxing.

Another cool thing is, it's also got me more interested in the bare-knuckle fights in Boxing's past. Have spent hours researching fights and fighters from the 1800s that I had no interest in before watching the BKFC. Adds a very interesting crease to modern-day Boxing in my opinion.
**** man, I talk about all sorts of nonsense. Good on you for giving it a look.

For me seeing the past in the present has a lot of value.
