Don't move the goal posts. We are talking about skill set and IQ. Terence himself may not have beaten a prime hall of famer, but he's heading into the hall of fame one day. Any fighter can beat an all of famer if he catches him at the right time in his career, so please avoid the nonsensical arguments.
However, styles make fight, not who you have beaten. TC's style is all wrong for Manny, past or present. His style is the one that always present a problem for Manny. Freddie said it himself that he wants Manny away from TC, because Crawford is Floyd all over again with more power. Why do you think Manny has been avoiding this fight?
skill set and iq?
you are overrating crawford way too high.
Not when your fans are saying he's a nobody. Not when you are not asking the same money for his contemporary equals such as Spence and Thurman.
Manny moved the offer from 25 mil the first time to now 40 mil. He just doesn't want to fight Crawford.
As I understand it, the split Manny got for fighting Thurman was 80/20. Percentage wise he isn't asking for anything more. He is, however, projecting that a fight against Crawford would generate more dough than against Thurman.
Do you not agree on this?
What money did Manny ask for to fight Spence?
These numbers are just starting points for negotiations. If Arum and Crawford want the fight, they should make a counterproposal.
PAC is looking to retire.
He’s in search of a high paying fight. Whether it’s Ryan, Crawford, Mcgregor, etc.
He’s looking to cash out and retire man.
Which he should, he’s already accomplished extraordinary feats in boxing.
Problem is none of the current guys can get him that type of pay...was supposed to be Mcgregor, but that went south.
Ryan could probably get him some gold chunk of money but, i don’t think Ryan’s team really wants to do that at the expense of Ryan.
Spence and Crawford, neither are big draws...they’ll generate about the same amount of PPV buys as Thurman, maybe 100K more. Not much incentive there.
Also keep in mind during pandemic, stadiums won’t be fully packed...really banking on the PPV buys.
Yeah I agree. I just hope if he plans on fighting at 147, make up his mind, everyday that passes he getting older don't expect to beat Crawford or Spence after being inactive.
