The referee of course has a responsibility to stop a fight if he thinks a fighter cannot defend themselves. Warrington indeed looked in terrible shape after that knockdown in the fourth, but there is some mitigation in how there was not long to the end of the round and further mitigation that if the fight needed to be stopped to protect the fighter, his own corner were happy to let their man keep going for round after round after that.Comment

That's just his style he always has done that just this time he met someone who had a punch he couldn't take.Comment

[QUOTE=RossW;21072216]Can you blame them. The weather sucks and their main sport is soccer! Or is it "football". Not! The NFL is real football![/QUOTE
Brief history lesson for this melt ...football came well before NFL! Football also has significantly more participation, fans and impact across the world.Comment

Was also ring's top rated 126 pounder, could understand some not liking his chances against Russell or Xu etc, didn't see anyone liking Lara's chances though.Comment

On paper it was easy to over look Lara's record. But if they looked closely he has been active since December of 2019, he had like 5 fights so he was sharper than what they anticipated when Warrington was sitting on idle.Comment
