    I’d give him an A.

Just a shame his chin is a Z.

        A+ handspeed, F- chin.

        Decent power, mediocre skills.

        Overall, I'd give him a B-

            C +.

Amir Khan you could say, is a fighter who has really capitalized on his own abilities. In his career he has always left it all inside the ring, and left no stoned upturned.

Ability wise he has abnormal hand speed, to the point where 'Some fighters could do nothing, but just cover up or weather the storm'. Amir Khan had the ability to operate at a level of action so fast, his opponents could not comprehend or compute what was actually happening.

Canelo Alvarez basically accepted that he could not out box Amir Khan, and banked on 'Just waiting and waiting until Khan made a mistake' Alvarez was being out boxed by Khan, he could do nothing etc

Note: Nobody gives Khan credit for being able to pick himself back up after a devastating loss, after his first brutal loss 'He was training in his boxing gym, the very next day giving interviews to news reporters' I could of graded him at B -, but I may stick with C +.

I've gone for B. I'm probably one of the few that sees him as an over-achiever. All he really has is speed of hand and foot. Otherwise, he hasn't got a good boxing IQ, he doesn't adapt well (if at all) if the game plan isn't working. Also, he doesn't always follow the game plan properly and gets himself KO'd. Which brings me to my next point: no chin. He moves in and out in straight lines, doesn't time his attacks but mindlessly throws combinations without being alert/aware of what might be coming back so he becomes easy to time when his opponents start to read his predictable rhythm and punch with him. Outside of using his feet, he has no defense, doesn't exactly have world class power.

For someone who spent a career relying on speed, he's achieved a lot. Kudos to you Khan.

He was an elite fighter at 140, unified titles. But didn’t reach that level at 147 nor any other weight class. He gets a B+

Khan had some decent wins vs Collazo, Molina and Alexander but lost when he stepped up in class. B-
