Barely if at all, it was pretty well pick em odds if I recall. Pac was a 4-1 underdog vs an already HOFer Barrera.

Barrera is a Mexican Legend. Already a future HOF and still enjoying the highest peak of his career.

The win over Corrales was great but this win over Barrera was levels higher. Barrera was one of the 3 fighters being argued as the #1 p4p that time and he got annihilated by a cannon fodder (Pac). The gravity of that win is very high.
Typical Pac-tard post lol Barrera had been in wars and lost already. Corrales was undefeated.

Corales is a better win because he was prime and undefeated. Barrera had a better career than Corales though. Both great wins.

I'm rocking with the Corrales win.

He put away one of the top p4p fighters, bigger, undefeated, and on a knockout streak.

More than convincingly. Rest the man's soul but Floyd made it look beyond easy.

Yet so typical reply from an insecure person like you. Corrales never tasted Morales and Hamed levels that’s why undefeated at that point

Corrales was 50-50 going up against Floyd. Barrera was not even 60-40 against Pac. He was up against a someone he was meant to showcase a performance to an unknown fodder.

Far very far to compare ....

Simple as this. It's like might as well say Calzaghe win over lacy is better win than pac s win over barrera as lacy was unbeaten and favourite and seen as miniature Mike tyson against calzaghe.

Don't be childish now. Floyd s win over Corrales is similar to joes win over lacy. Both.fighters hyped as something they werent.
Historically Corrales and lacy not much.more than a footnote.

was corrales #3 p4p or higher??? was corrales lineal champ??? was floyd moving up in weight to fight corrales??? undefeated and ko streaks means nothing if competition isn't elite.

barrera outclassing hamed is greater than any of corrales' wins at the time. FACT.

barrera considered more legendary than corrales. ANOTHER FACT.

Barrera was on a crazy streak. He was p4p #3, some would even put him at #1 at that time (Roy Jones and Hopkins were up there with him)

                    Won against 35-0 Hamed
                    Won against 41-0 Morales

                    That's f.cking crazy.

yup. only a dunce would think a corrales win comes even close.

maybe a more fair debate is: pac vs bradley 2 or floyd vs corrales

bradley ranked #3 p4p at the time (while corrales was #5), welterweight champ, former unified champ at 140, undefeated (on paper), coming off a big decision win against marquez.
