Yeah, Haney needs to fight Fortuna and Linares. Do something interesting and stop begging. It looks bad.

But yea he's in a sh^tty spot. It's unlikely Bob can &/or will wanna make the big fights at 135 any time soon & the only fight worth a damn at 140 is the Taylor vs JCR winner.

That said he's like 23 & I believe is making $1M+ per fight already so it's not reallllllllly an awful spot. Everyone making more than him at TR wishes they were making $1M+ per fight at 23.

I agree that Haney needs to fight someone first (though the Loma haters weren't singing that tune when he was calling out Loma). On the other hand, if Teo thinks so little of Haney and that he would be easy work, why not take the easy money?

Two strikes me as a guy who is going to price himself out of some good fights. After one loss his stock will drop and he'll be begging for a $4M fight.
