...and Mark Johnson, no disrespect at all, will always be a small 5'3" blown-up Flyweight against a 5'7" bantamweight. he's one of the best Flyweights ever, that's where he made his mark, and he's going to the HOF for that.


and bottomline, JMM has fought six (6) world champions.

the small, blown up flyweight is still better than anyone juan has beaten simple as. even if you take him out of the equation, tim austin was better than the derrick gainers of the world.

none of those *former or future* champions were at their best when juan beat them. most of those former or future champs were paper titlists, never recognized guys like johnson and austin were.

rafael doesn't lose to the chris johns of the world...he stops them. its crazy how drawing with pacquiao makes you better than your superior brother.

i suppose...i just can't see how juan has had anywhere near the career rafael has had. i just dont think anybody knows jack about rafael and juan got recognition for drawing with pacquiao.

I like Rafael, hope he moves up and take on bigger challengers though. One think that worries me is that on his last few fights, I've seen him trying to end them with one shot, he should go back to his boxing and then setup the power punches.

Pringle hit the nail on the head. Rafael has been undefeated in the last 6 years or so virtually all with impressive wins. Rafael is also younger than JMM and has defintely been improving.

I dont see Rafa ever being as good a boxer as his brother though.He's nowhere near as fluid as Juan.
