Juan is the better boxer, plus Rafa has a tendency to fall behind on points, but he has that power that JMM lacks.

All around skills, it's got to be Rafael. Their fight records and the quality of opponents could easily justify that.

Juan Manuel has always been the better fighter, but Rafael is right their with him now. But over-all I think Juan Manuel. I hadn't seen Rafael in awhile till his second fight with Mabuza and he looked awsome his skill level has risen to his brother talent. I think he has gotten lots better as a champion. Berstein really did a good job on improving his over-all skills and form.

They're both awesome and have great strengths. As already stated, Juan is the better technical fighter, but can punch when necessary. Rafael is creeping up in the technique stakes though. He is showing good skills to compliment his power. These are some dangerous bastards.

Rafael and easily. Both career wise and skill wise. Rafael has beaten a HOF in Johnson twice, another very good bantamweight in Austin...and every solid top 10 challenger who has stepped to his title. He has two fisted power that Juan doesn't...and his technique is catching up to Juan. He has shortened up his punches and can lead or counter effectively at this stage in his career.

Rafael is top 5 p4p in my opinion. Rafael beats his opponents convincingly, Juan does not.

As far as boxing skills is concerned, JMM blows him out of the water.
                  Overall, its very close.
