Yeah, this is the impression I get too. All the controversy around Nery doesn't paint an image of a disciplined fighter, and it's clear that Reynoso runs a tough ship.
Rumor is he got let go and Luis felt salty about it. Similar to the way Breadman and Jrock parted ways but Breadman never talked about it in mailbags nor should he. He disclosed it with Michael Montero. Reynoso doesn’t care or have time for media press about it. He is busy with Valdez and Canelo these two weeks.
With chepo reynoso only the strong survive! Nery does not have discipline and does not want to commit to the reynoso training camp,, i guess you got to have balls to be able to train hard like reynoso likes
Nery didn't look all that impressive against Alameda. I thought it was much closer than the scorecards reflected. I don't think that's the fault of Reynoso, usually takes a few fights to get acclimated to a new trainer.
With all of his weight issues and lethargic performance last fight, I think Nery needs to find someone who can get that spark back. Someone mentioned Robert Garcia, that wouldn't be bad.
