Anybody with a good connection will do. Why work your ass off when a tainted taco will do the trick.

This! He's in a very competitive division. He needs a trainer where he's the main focus.

Love Nery. Just hope he finds a trainer who connects with him. I see moving around from trainer to trainer as a bad sign in boxing. Fighters, like all top athletes, need structure.

Thats what it sounds like to me as well.

Nery doesn't seem to like discipline, judging by all the times he has had weight problems.

Starting to look that way, isn't it.

What you guys don’t know is that Eddy is very very strict in the gym. He and Team Ruiz almost had a falling out and “good people” convinced Andy to stay and he did. Even Ryan’s dad said Eddy is very strict about things and they had to acknowledge it. Henry said it was the right path as well.

Yeah this was my first thought

I generally don’t mind a fighter opting for an easy-going kind of camp if that helps him as a fighter, everyone’s different but in the case of Nery and his lack of discipline in the past, he just wants an easier ride.

Always thought Nery was a force. Like the kid alot! He showed me over and over how dangerous he is in the ring. How smart he is in the ring and now how smart of a person he is in real life. Damn good choice Nery! Best of luck to you..

I read about this. Their style don't go well together. Respect to both of them tho.

Name me another trainer right now who molded a fighter from kid to become a great?
Are u guys talking about Eddy, not Chepo right?

                      Chepo is Eddy Reynosos dad.
