I remember watching him fight live back in the 70s. It was Ali vs Spinks 1978 that made me realise that boxing was my favourite sport. Rest in power champ

I so remember the fall out from his win over Ali. What an event that second fight was.

Just an all-around good guy, always smiling, always a good attitude. Remembering back to Dad and I watching the first Ali fight live, and both of us enjoying it start to finish. Good times. Leon and I are both the same age, so of course it seems he passed far too young. R.I.P. champ.
