That would be a tremendous help. Go get that Mike Dolce guy that helps UFC fighters always make weight.
Nobody really needs this, we all know what to do to keep trim and lean, it takes discipline but anyone can do it all on their own if motivated.

A good nutritionist makes it so much easier. If he preps and cooks meals during training camp that is even better.

Everything is thought out and on point and the fighter doesn't need to worry about it.

not cooking the meal yourself I guess is the only benefit but any adult who has participated in competitive sports knows deep down what they should and shouldn't be ingesting.

Any world class athlete should have a professional nutritionist period. Particularly boxers making weight. Particularly boxers who are already big for the division. It’s not just about cutting weight it’s about cutting weight and keeping energy and hydration up too. Not easy. Boxers aren’t where they are because they’re smart or because they have the first idea about nutrition.

So every adult is now a certified nutritionist? Do you even Know how, let’s say mike dolce cuts weight? How many hours before you start? What you drink after weigh in? How much? What do you eat after weigh in?
Weight management coach can be huge to a fighter that isn’t slim like a Benavidez or Brandon Rios.
Mike dolce is the best at what he does. There’s a reason he sought out for to do exactly this.
You can just eat things cause “you know as a adult “

Mike dolce was my neighbor til he moved East, maybe Michigan IIRC. Dude is awesome and genuine. Surprised he’s not more popular in boxing.

Intelligence aside, I suspect most have very limited knowledge about nutrition because their exposure to it has been via commercial mass media and cultural traditions rather than science. And even those who have studied it, like Chris Algeri, can come in heavy for a fight. Hiring a specialist who understands circadian rhythms and proper food combining, especially for a big title fight, can only be a plus. And applying that knowledge for the long term would enable an athlete to avoid wild weight swings between fights.

Idk about all that, but in a boxing match he will beat them both!
