Now, I would argue that there are not that many heavyweights who were in their prime, or near it, in the past 5-7 years who I would favor to beat Wilder. Which is what is implied by "one of the top heavyweights of his generation" would you agree?
Calling someone one of the top fighters, is calling them one of the best. Sorry i got a single word wrong. But it means the same thing. You just wish you never said it now. I don't blame you, it was a silly comment. And the top is being number 1, not outside of the top 5 and running away from any real fight like the coward he is.

Wilder himself didn't believe he could beat any of the main fighters out there, that's why he ducked and fought garbage all the time. So if Wilder didn't believe he could himself, why would anyone else? Many fighters would have parked his bus. Real good as well.

I dont regret I wrote it at all, and stand by it. I still believe he is one of the top 10 heavyweights of the last 5-7 years. Yeah, he has no skill, but his power makes him dangerous.

But if I am wrong, let me know. Please list 10 better heavies- not gutsy, or willing to take risks, but better. We'll let the names we supply be the evidence and our defense.

IMO, Fury is clearly better. Joshua is about the same, though to me an enigma- he could at times be clearly better, but at times I think he just falls of the map. After that who could you put ahead of him in that time frame? I guess Potvetkin, but I wouldnt. If you are a Whyte fan I would listen to an argument, but to me Wilder would more consistently beat Whyte.

I just don't see this abundance of heavies over the past few years who are better. Please provide your list of those who are.

Geez. Is it really that hard to keep the high ground against Wilder?

Sounds like Breland has been hating on Wilder this whole time. He sounds dumb saying he could beat the same fighters Wilder beat. Then he said he never touched water I saw him touch water. He says he can beat Wilder that's a lie lol Then He says Wilder doesn't train or hit the heavy bag, another lie and Wilder always comes to the ring in shape unlike Stiverne, Areola, Andy Ruiz (second AJ fight). One thing Breland was right on is Wilder CAN'T OR DOESN'T USE THE JAB!! And Wilder isn't a technical fighter by no means and is a flawed fighter but every fighter has a flaw that's what makes boxing interesting to watch. The different styles and the unknown of what punch could end a fight. I Also think this statement is sketchy by Breland:

Jay’s blind or … Jay is right there when he’s getting his hands wrapped and he didn’t say anything. But to be honest, that’s how much he knows about boxing. Hell, he probably could’ve put a cast up in there and he wouldn’t have known.”

So Fury's team could've put a cast in his gloves and Jay wouldn't have known??? Why even make that statement?? Crabs in A bucket huh?? Lol

Depends on how the bodies rank

If we look at WBC ranking, aside from Luis Ortiz and Michael Hunter there are Usyk, Ruiz, Joyce, Hrgovic, Whyte, and Parker on top 10. Most of them are difficult opponents for Wilder. Young Hrgovic completely outboxed Wilder during David Haye camp, so obviously now he has developed even more. On IBF ranking there are also Tony Yoka, a gold medalist with good skill.

So you're right, if Wilder wants to rebuild he can starts with WBA. He has better chance in fighting Dinu. Any fighters with good jab and solid 1-2 combinations have the potential to knock Wilder out. I believe all the names I mentioned above have good chance of doing it.

He flattens Dinu there are only 3 men ahead of him. Charr, Bryan & Helenius. Helenius is rematching Kownacki & Bryan must fight Charr by May 31 or get stripped. Fres Oquendo still in there somewhere too but 2021 will have 2 Fury/Joshua fights. The Charr/Bryan & Helenius/Kownacki fights will be sorted out by summer. Charr/Bryan winner is WBA mandatory. Helenius/Kownacki winner will be the Gold champion (Whatever that means). If Wilder beats Dinu he is at the top of the rankings. I fully expect the winner of Joshua/Fury will vacate both the WBO & WBA straps leaving Charr/Bryan winner fighting for the vacant WBA title against... Wilder. This is only speculation by me that the WBA becomes vacant. Maybe Charr/Bryan winner gets lifted to full WBA champion & Wilder fights Kownacki/Helenius winner for Mandatory spot or they just make Wilder the mandatory. I actually don’t see Bryan, Charr, Helenius or Kownacki beating Wilder because they are all slower & easy to hit which is a recipe for disaster against Wilder. Some may think I’m nuts but I have speculated a few times over the past & was correct. The Leapai title fight. Haye getting his title fight with Valuev instead of voluntaries against Klitschko (So he would have better leverage) I speculated the scenarios as possibilities a year before they happened. I’m no Nostradamus but have been right a few times. Don King is still lurking with his hand on Bryan & his history with the WBA. If the belt gets vacated King will push for Bryan to be awarded the title instead of earning it. Wilder would be the most lucrative fight King could cash out Bryan on if he gets past Charr & i think he will.
