      3) one reason why eddie might say 'within 1 or 2 weeks' is to force venues to put up their number fast. due to present circumstances they're lingering and arent sure what to offer.
eddie saying 'we're talking to several countries'
      saudi, dubai, singapore, china, usa
that most likely means it's only really saudi, dubai (and possibly qatar) in the running. perhaps it's to force one to outbid the other. saudi putting up £200m and is the richest of the arab countries, but i'm sure both sides would really prefer dubai, it just has a better global image and looks better, has a more multicultural population, is more accessible etc, but dubai doesnt have oil wealth.

you're acting like a little girl on her first period.
You said all of that to say nothing, and to top it off you talking about “Little girl and period” on a boxing forum.... Geesh some of you guys are melts...

However, I don't have much sympathy for Wilder here as he disappeared under a rock and didn't say squat for almost a year and now he is chirping about Fury "ducking" him ! C'mon man, who actually believes this S**t? Maybe Trump supporters who also believe that ***** eats babies alive, or flat earthers, because Wilder is a liar, ducker, coward and his words mean nothing.
I hear you. But I'd rather have Wilder vs Fury 3 and have AJ fight Usyk before the unification fight. That way, there are no excuses and no more delays

That it is Hearn saying it will be announced within a week. He hasn't said that.

It's casual fans who set the expectation. Most fight fans know that an undisputed, two fight, multi hundred million dollar deal in the middle of a global pandemic will take some time.

That is a delay . If that happened we wouldn’t see a unification fight until late this year as opposed to spring ,which is a 6 month difference and if all goes planned .

I dunno brother. We have been so f***ng starved of amazing fights it's a f'king joke. I'd rather take a bird in the hand than two in the bush.
Although I do like birds with nice bushes, but thats a different story altogether.

Thats the smoke and mirrors answer. The reality is that they have to get Usyk vs Joyce tied up and announced before the AJ/ Fury announcement. As much as i dislike it...Wilder has walked away from Fury 3. Usyk is the roadblock to undisputed and they dont want to pay him step aside. This means that they have to put him in a fight where he earns enough to stay happy...while they in turn make a profit ( however slight) that doesnt leave them out of pocket.

There isn’t any delay now. We should be thankful, with PBC involvement we wouldn’t see an undisputed fight. Without their involvement we are getting the fight. That’s what any boxing fan should want over anything else.

For an undisputed fight I don’t care if my favourite boxer is left out, as long as that fight happens.
