Thats boxing. Any run of the mill moron can think of a better way to run the sport, it takes a handful of special geniuses with loads of money to f it up to this degree. And the UFC has been right in front of their eyes showing them the best way to do it for about 20 years now

Very well said! If proters would stick to promoting events and a separate entity managed the boxer, I would see it as an improvment.

I don't fully agree with the UFC comment simply because it started off as you say, but Dana changed his tuner once the real $$ started coming in. It went from the best figting the best, to putting peolple in seats and now it's about what the people want to see. The best fighting the best is not an option if they do like the fighting style.

Cowboy Cerone vs Connor... I haven't watched for years and didn't tune in because the outcome was beyond obvious and Cerone desrved better than to be a sacrificial lamb to hype up the other guy. Boxing is a messed up sesspool of corruption, but you can make crazy $$. UFC make the same sacrifice, health etc. and have to call out Canelo, Floyd or Manny to get enough money to live and pay those medical bills from the damage taken each year till the very end. Ben Askren with no knees left has to fight Jake Paul to have something in the bank for those bills.

Just my take, but the UFC is like the WBA being the only belt and the promoter for all boxers while being run by Don King, Hearns or Arrum etc.

At this point, the wbc and the wbc are the weakest of the 4 belt orgs. Multiple champs in each division waters down any type of respect they had. The IBF & WBO dont have multiple and they follow their rules.

I'm all for Crawford fighting Spence, dont get it twisted, but them to belts (bc & ba) are wack af
