Mikey Garcia has been a frontrunner to fight Manny Pacquiao ever since he last fought and scored a unanimous decision win over Jessie Vargas last February. The victory on Leap Day, however, did not help Garcia to make the leap for a career-defining fight. The pandemic and the turnstyle list of opponents the Filipino fighter has considered over the last year has left the four-division champion Garcia (40-1, 30 KOs) on the outside looking in waiting for Pacquiao to pick his next opponent.

Just fight money, just fight. It’s time to rebuild and get back to a legit title

He should be willing to fight any welterweight that will get in the ring with him. Does anyone believe that he can beat a game Porter or even Thurman? I don’t!!

Well, there's always Crawford lol. If Mikey wants a PBC fighter, he has to re-sign with PBC. Let's be honest, he isn't a big enough name to be an independent contractor.
He really should quit pretending to be a Welterweight, and drop back to 140. The again, Arum is running the show down there. Mikey has boxed himself out of big fights lol

Mikey is the same as Jacobs. They still get advisory from Haymon but they aren’t exclusive to PBC.

Mikey is probably seeing the DAZN landscape of cuts for post Covid vs the current pays at PBC. Mikey despises Arum and vise versa, it’s not so much about Crawford. Mikey would expect a substantial pay higher than Brook... why would Arum entertain that?

Mikey should target Prograis at 140. That would be a sweet fight and a great match up. If he wants to just stay at 147, he should be gunning for a Thurman showdown. If we get Spence vs Ugas and Crawford vs Porter, Thurman will be the odd man out so a fight vs Mikey makes a lot of sense.

Under the radar really solid fight would be against Jamal James. But will James risk his mandatory to face Mikey?
