Things are heating up at 140 now, he should target winner of Taylor/Ramirez, or keep an eye out for Teo if he decides to jump to 140 any time soon.

Mikey saw the cash at DAZN and took it. Cant blame em. But he’s not “the man” in any division right now. So he’s gonna have to tough it out or take a less than friendly deal.

          Mikey Garcia still boxes?

He voluntarily decided to quit the sport for 2.5 years in the middle of his prime.

He inexplicably takes the Spence fight two weight classes up, and doesn't even try on fight night.

Now more layoffs as he's chasing a 40-year old Filipino senator who does boxing part-time.

          Waste of talent.

Garcia isn't going to get a fight with either Spence or Urgas without earning it.

Porter, Danny or Thurman would probably fight Mikey but who's paying for it?

The only way Garcia gonna get a straight shot at the title might be via his old friend Arum against Crawford.

But then again, whos paying for it?

Bud isn't the one taking 5 year breaks from the sport. Mikey talks way more than he fights.

                Same as Crawford.

Too bad he's got bad blood with Arum. They could book Crawford vs. Garcia: Battle Of Lost Greatness

Sad to say this because I like Mikey Garcia and his technical ability. Great boxer and puncher but I think he’s out of his league at 147. Most guys up there are too much for him. His best chance at winning are vs the lower tier WW’s like Danny Garcia, Lipinets (who he already beat), and idk about Ugas. I think Garcia is undersized and ineffective at 147 but that’s where they think the big bucks are. I think his weight class is 135, 140 tops and you can tell by the way his body looks on fight night. He’s a bit flabby and softer looking. I understand completely that boxing is a tough sport on your body, very grueling and miserable to make a weight lower than what you want to be in for years. But that’s why the sport is not for everyone, the sacrifice you have to make as a pro boxer is a sacrifice most people aren’t willing to make. But if you’re going to participate in the sport, you do have to make that sacrifice. Mikey Garcia right now, he is not willing to sacrifice the tacos, burritos and beer for boxing. I understand that he doesn’t necessarily like boxing, as he mentioned this years ago, that boxing is boring to him or something like that. But man, he is such a great fighter from 126 to 135 that it saddens me to see him be this different lower tier top guy at 147. He’s an elite guy at 135-140.

Garcia vs DSG, Porter, Thurman or TC If he plans on staying at 147. Regis Prograis is a good fight south of 147. Not many options for Mikey, pretty sure he's not interested in facing Boots or Ortiz...

Just retire man. You got played by haymon. You lost all your popularity
He lost his popularity when he sat out then came back to catch pay days now he’s selling his record for retirement money. No business over 140lb.
