Under the radar really solid fight would be against Jamal James. But will James risk his mandatory to face Mikey?
Have you seen Mikey lately? He looks like a Cruiserweight. Hes gotta be about 180.

Yeah, and he may not want to get down to 147 which is fine.

But honestly, Prograis is going to move up soon enough so why not make that fight at 147? Would be a great match up regardless of the weight class.

What happened to "TheMikeyTeam" guy?? He seems to have magically vanished. Big surprise. There are so many fanboys that jump on the bandwagon and as soon as their favorite fighter loses, they jump ship. There's dedication.
As far as Mikey is concerned, it seems like he's enjoying the good life a bit too much to get anywhere near beating a relevant welterwight. Hell, he couldn't do that when he was in shape. I'll bet Mikey is approaching 160 lbs right now.

Mikey Garcia really only has 2-3 good years left, he's old, and he spends more time talking **** about how hard he has it in boxing instead of trying to fight. Why are 1, 2, 3, 4 year breaks such a common thing with this guy.

Mikey's making the common mistake of 'give me a big fight for who I was not who I am now'.

I guess there will be no more $7m paydays with Edward Hearn for cupcake fights

                      Outta sight, outta mind.

There is something to be said for staying active...just ask GRJ. Mikey is on that schedule lately. Been almost a year since he fought. Was almost a year since he last fought Vargas.

I just don't know that Mikey cares THAT much about boxing so staying active might be more than he's willing to do &/or its a bigger risk cuz he dgaf about random ass fights as much as the bigger names with some bigger checks where him showing up or not don't really matter. And fair play to the guy. This is not usually a sport you wanna continue doing with the same intensity once you got the bank account looking sexy &/or got other side things going on making you money.
